Free Saturday Music Centre Taster Session - 19 Jan 2019
Develop your skills, have fun and make friends too at our Music Centre!
Are you already having lessons on your instrument? Just practising at home on your own? Come and find out all about our fun Saturday Music Centre activities which are open to anyone learning an instrument. There are a range of groups for children in school years 2–6, for all standards of string, wind and percussion players.
For most Saturdays across the school year we run 3 hours of fun music centre activities at Varndean School and we’d like to offer you the chance to come along, meet the teachers, have a listen to the first half of our rehearsals and then join in if you’d like to.
Each session runs for an hour and the sessions below are listed in the order in which they run.
Session 1 starts at 09:00
Session 2 starts at 10:00
Session 3 starts at 11:15
As well as meeting the staff there will members of our Parents and Friends Association (PaFA) who have all had children learning with BHMA and attending Music Centre for several years. They’re looking forward to helping welcome you to Music Centre and to answer any general questions you may have or just to be there to reassure you as they still remember their child’s first session and how anxious they were.
